Hong Kong has been besieged by non-Hong Kong Chinese for the past year. They can now easily apply for tourist visas to Hong Kong. For them, the Avenue of Stars is a lot of fun, it's like visiting the "forbidden city" (not the forbidden palace in Beijing) in the literal sense of the word.

Już w 2000 roku mainlanders byli znacznym dostarczycielem dochodu w HK... W 2003 w supermarketach można było juz płacić w renminbi (kurs był uczciwy).
