It's hard to imagine, but Hong Kong has hundreds of kilometers of underpasses. Through such tunnels you can go from the metro station to a hotel or office building, from the metro to a larger bus stop, from the KCR train to the metro, etc. It is convenient, especially in hot summer or in stormy weather. The problem is that people live like moles.
