During heavy rain, which appears very unexpectedly in Shenzhen, people often hide in tunnels and underground passages. Under this roof we waited for over an hour of downpour, a typical tropical rain. A street vendor selling water and snacks was also waiting for the weather to change and was selling drinks to those waiting with us. The Chinese man took off his soaked shirt, he was wet on the outside but not on the inside, so he bought himself a bottle of water.
