Scuffles with the police

The police and the authorities always treat ordinary Chinese people like cattle (sometimes foreigners too). I was forcibly taken off the bridge (a collision-free street intersection) and I couldn't take photos of the Olympic torch. In this photo you can see how the police are shouting and pushing ordinary people away from the stairs. These steps were about 40 meters from the street where the person carrying the Olympic torch was running. As you can see, according to the Chinese police, these people were a threat to the torch! Ultimately, the influx of the crowd overcame the police, and they waved it off. I can already imagine what will happen in Pekno on October 1, it is the 60th anniversary of China's independence.
