The Chinese are still delighted with the victory over Japan and the end of the civil war, and they are grateful to Mao Tse-tung for all this. There was even a film, many performances and speeches prepared for the 60th anniversary of independence. No one will say that Mao's reign was a waste of time. Terrible years in which the entire culture was destroyed, the history of China was blurred and distorted, intelligent and valuable people were trampled to death, the stupidest reforms were introduced, the economy collapsed... no one will know the truth in China. Mao should be respected and adored.
