Many people accused that the city of Shenzhen had no soul and no charm. I didn't agree with it at first, I knew a lot of cool places in Shenzhen. But now I sometimes come to the same conclusion. In Shenzhen, they are building shopping malls, subways, skyscrapers, hotels, nightclubs, but these places are kind of featureless. All this does not have any general concept, they simply build on each other. This photo causes similar feelings - the main street, illuminated skyscrapers, but a kind of emptiness and nothingness.
