In Hunan province (and not only there), electric three-wheelers have become a very popular means of transport. Such vehicles fulfill various roles in the countryside and in small towns. They are eagerly used by retirees going shopping, farmers transporting some vegetables (there are versions with a cargo box), and young people who do not yet have a driving license or cannot obtain registration for a real, full-size car. The vehicles are small and probably not very stable, but a big advantage is the reduction of exhaust emissions. A simple, eco-friendly vehicle for the masses.
