The previously mentioned "Ferris wheel" in Hong Kong, i.e. the Hong Kong Observation Wheel. It was built in a place where a few years ago there was simply the sea. Every square meter in the center of Hong Kong is so expensive that it is worth investing millions of dollars in drainage, taking away some land from Victoria Bay.
