Sometimes the Chinese sit on the sidewalks, or in this case, on the fire hydrant. People who spend all day on the street, for example taxi drivers, couriers, porters, garbage collectors, sometimes sit in a group on the sidewalk, then chat, play cards, sometimes play chess. I don't have to go to the park or to an apartment. Meetings on the street are also a solution. Photo from Hunan Province.
