Gates (formerly made of wood) most often separated cities, towns or individual districts. They can be found all over China, because now the villages have grown into towns and the cities have transformed into something the size of the Kłodzko Basin, these gates have lost their functionality. Sometimes they appear in a city, on a specific street, where there used to be, for example, a small village.
