I remember when Chinese visiting European fairs complained that all shops were closed at 5-6 p.m. Plus siesta in many countries. They didn't have a chance to buy anything. In China, especially in large cities, there is no such problem. In Hong Kong and Shenzhen, stores (even clothing stores) are open until 10-11 p.m.
